01Welcome to gopora

gopora connects buyers with 48,000 independent sellers across 190+ countries. gopora Inc. (“gopora”, “we”, “us”) provides the venue — the platform, payment rails and the gopora Buyer Promise — but the goods themselves are listed, fulfilled and warranted by the sellers.

By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Notice. If you disagree with any part, please don’t use the marketplace.

02Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country) to buy or sell. You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. One account per person; shared or sold accounts may be closed without notice.

We verify seller identity before first payout — name, address, tax ID and, where required, business registration. Buyers may be asked for a one-time card or identity check on high-value orders. This keeps the marketplace safe for everyone.

03Buying & orders

A contract between you and the seller is formed the moment you click Place order — subject to stock and our payment approval. Every order is covered by the gopora Buyer Promise: if an item arrives damaged, not as described, or never arrives at all, we refund you in full. You have 90 days from delivery to open a case — or from the latest promised delivery date if the order never arrives. Change-of-mind returns have a separate 30-day window from delivery.

• Prices include VAT where applicable; customs duties for cross-border orders are estimated at checkout and shown transparently.
• You may cancel free of charge until the seller dispatches; after dispatch, standard return rules apply.
• Orders are delivered by carrier to the address you give at checkout — or, where pickup points are available, you can choose to collect your order at one instead.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method — card or gopora Wallet balance — within 3–5 business days of a resolved case.
• Abusive claims, fraud or resale of counterfeits through your account leads to account closure and withholding of refunds.

04Seller terms

Sellers accept the full Seller Agreement, including the intellectual-property guarantee: you warrant that every image, description and brand you upload is yours or properly licensed, and that every product is authentic and lawful to sell in the destination country. Listing counterfeit, infringing or illegal goods results in immediate removal, forfeited payouts and, in serious cases, referral to law enforcement.

What may not be listed is set out in full in our Prohibited & Restricted Items policy. Rightsholders can report misuse at any time via our IP report form.

05Fees & payments

For buyers: the price you see is the price you pay — we add no hidden platform fees. Duty and shipping are shown before you pay, never after.

For sellers: a transparent flat fee per sale, with 0% fees for your first 90 days. Payouts are released daily once an order shows tracking movement, and are always released to you even if a buyer case is still open (the gopora Buyer Promise is paid by gopora’s coverage, not your payout). Full rates live in your seller dashboard.

06Prohibited activities

Using gopora to do any of the following is a material breach of these terms:

• Listing counterfeit, stolen, recalled or illegal goods, or goods you do not have the right to sell.
• Manipulating reviews, ratings, search or promotions; shill bidding; off-platform deals to dodge fees.
• Scraping or bulk-copying listings, images or seller content without permission.
• Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or publishing personal data of others.
• Attempting to defraud buyers, sellers, payment providers or gopora itself.

07Intellectual property

The gopora name, ✦ mark, editorial content and platform design belong to gopora Inc. Listing photos, seller logos and shop branding belong to their respective sellers and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reuse any of it outside the marketplace without the rightsholder’s written permission.

08Liability

gopora is a venue. Sellers are responsible for the quality, safety and lawfulness of their goods; buyers are responsible for lawful use and import compliance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, gopora’s aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — except where liability cannot be limited (fraud, personal injury, EU consumer rights), and nothing in these terms removes your statutory rights as a consumer.

09Disputes & governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules; consumers in the EU and UK keep the protection of their home-country mandatory law. Buyer–seller disputes go through our resolution process first — most are settled within 48 hours. If we can’t resolve a dispute with you, either party may bring it before the competent court in your country of residence.

10Termination

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms — with notice where the law requires it. On closure, open orders still complete, pending payouts are released after the return window, and we retain only the records the law requires (see our Privacy Policy).

11Changes to these terms

We review these terms at least twice a year. Material changes are announced by email and an in-marketplace notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
