01What cookies are
Cookies are small files your browser stores, either by us (first-party) or by services we work with (third-party). They let the site remember things between visits — like what’s in your cart or which currency you picked. This prototype uses the browser’s local storage for the same purpose, and the production site will use both.
02The four types we use

Choosing “Essential only” disables analytics and marketing cookies. Recently viewed, watch lists and other nice-to-haves keep working, because they live in your browser’s local storage — nothing is sent to us.
05Browser controls
Every modern browser lets you clear or block cookies entirely. Blocking all cookies will still allow this prototype to run — it stores preferences locally — but the production site would need essential cookies to keep your cart and sign you in.
